Which version should I get?

For most people — and almost anyone buying for a kid — the Standard (Baselit) is the one. It lights up, makes the swing and clash sounds, and is the tougher of the two. The Xenopixel adds extra effects and more color options, aimed at serious collectors.

Can I change the blade color, or is it fixed?

You can change it. Cycle through 12 colors with the handle button — no app needed. The blade itself also detaches, so you can swap it or pack it into the case.

Is it ready to use out of the box?

Almost — there's one quick step. Slide the blade into the handle and tighten it with the included Allen key (all tools are in the box). Give it a charge and it's fully ready to go. No app, no extra parts, no batteries to buy.

How long is shipping?

We ship from California on weekdays. Most US orders arrive in 3–5 business days, with free shipping over $99. You'll get tracking by text the moment it leaves the building.

01 · Durability

Built to survive real use — not just display

Every Luna saber is built to be dropped, swung hard, and generally put through it — not just set on a shelf. We test each model under heavy strikes, drops, and even car tires before it ships, so it won't crack like a cheap toy saber.

Real durability is earned, not claimed.

02 · Comfort

Comfortable and balanced in the hand

The handle is weighted to feel solid and balanced, with a grip that stays steady through swings and spins.

It feels like the real thing, not a flimsy prop.

03 · Fun

More than a saber — it's hours of fun

There's a reason people don't put these down. Light it up and it pulls everyone in: backyard duels with friends and siblings, late-night battles in the hallway, showing it off to anyone who walks in the door.

It's the kind of thing that turns an ordinary afternoon into an event — and it stays just as fun years later.

    What people
    actually ask.

01 Can my kid use it?

Yes. Recommended for ages 12+ for full duels. Younger kids love the lights and sounds and can hold it safely — just supervise the swinging.

02 Is this a real metal saber, or a costume prop?

Real metal. The hilt is T6 aircraft aluminum — the same alloy used in plane fuselages — machined and anodized in our shop. It has weight in the hand. The blade is dueling-grade polycarbonate, not the thin plastic you find on costume props.

03 Will it actually take a hit, or do I need to baby it?

It will take a hit. Polycarbonate is what police riot shields are made from. People duel with these for years. If you somehow break a blade, replacement blades are $25 and ship in 48h.

04 Can you turn the sound off?

Yes. The sound is adjustable and can be muted with the handle button, so it's fine for quieter homes.

05 Does it need batteries or charging before use?

It arrives charged and ready to light up. When it runs low, it recharges over USB-C in about 90 minutes — no disposable batteries needed.

06 How does it charge? How long does it last?

USB-C, fully recharges in about 90 minutes, runs ~5 hours of use on a charge. The battery is rated for 1,000+ cycles and is replaceable.

07 Will it arrive in time for a birthday or holiday?

We ship from California on weekdays; most US orders arrive in 3–5 business days. Order with a few days' buffer to be safe.

    08 How fast is shipping?

We ship from California, weekdays only. Most US orders arrive in 3–5 business days. Free shipping over $99, and we'll text you tracking the moment it leaves the building.
